Bubbling over.

At last: the great handmade table fountain in action.

This is the ceramic piece I made months ago thanks to BVUK and a local potter.  Glazing inside the bowl stops the water permeating into the body which is roughly based on a piece of natural wood with three hollow branch-projections.  The pump is solar powered so no mixing electrics and water.  The rubber base attached protects the table surface and against my clumsy movement.

When so inspired, I can add flower arrangements in the hollow branches and even around that gurgling spout.  A totally unique audible and visual table centre piece for long hot summer days.
