When at least 1-in-4 of us will have a life-changing, disabling health condition, my new book might offer some practical help.
I’ve spent the last three years (not counting time in hospital!) trying to pull together the thoughts, experiences and learning from nearly 30 years working in the disability field. And it’s not just me: there are the experiences of many others too.
No-one chooses to have a disability but age, poverty, location, education, job-level, diversity factors and more can all increase the risk. Speedy health treatment may help but support to handle the mental and emotional impact of “life-changing” needs attention too.
More later when the book is ready through Amazon and Kindle. Its not about making money but hoping to help.
