Yes, I do flower arranging too. Here’s a simple hand-tied posy which works well with those hollow-stemmed tulips and daffodils. Just a bit of greenery and some tape to hold the lot together. Simple!
And January is the time to get Seville oranges for marmalade. I’ve developed a simple method that works for me to cut down the boiling time and make it safer. The first 3.5kg are already jarred and probably the same again this week.
And I’m planning ahead to use up more of last year’s apples: Christmas mincemeat which is so incredibly easy.
