The sous-chef and I were treated (for two big birthdays and an anniversary) to an absolutely splendid lunch at Lime Wood Hotel (Angela Hartnett’s empire) by Sue and Rod, Joan and Jeff. The trout tartare was definitely one to try at home as was the fig and frangipane dessert. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a truly special time.
