Multi-tasking.

Life runs from one extreme to another.  Over just three days: co-chairing an external consultation group for a major HMRC project; making 90-odd mini-pork pies for housekeeper Karen’s forthcoming big birthday; flower arranging with dramatic lilies; designing a possible new charity for those of us with sight loss.

On that last one, I’m desperately seeking someone who knows about websites and how to make them as accessible as possible.    Anyone out there who’s a tec whizz, please email: penny@laylands.co.uk.

Also, if you have sight loss or know somebody who has and would like to get involved with the “what works for me” project, please get in touch.

Meanwhile, the sous-chef has been pottering away in the garden with his queens (the bee-variety).  Of the latest batch, one is already laying while another two probably still need to explore on their virgin flights.  I’m told that they come home with big smiles!  After that, life is a drudgery of egg-laying and no more outside adventures unless leading a swarm.
